5× organic growth across 2,000+ regional pages — the multi-office playbook.

Deputy Manager, Marketing (SEO) at Aavas Financiers, a listed housing-finance company lending across hundreds of branch territories in smaller Indian cities. Structurally, this is the closest thing in my career to Berry Law's problem: one brand, many territories, every territory needing to rank and convert locally.

Situation

At entry, the site drew about 30K organic users a month — thin coverage for a lender with a branch network spanning tier-2 and tier-3 markets where home-loan decisions are local, trust-driven, and heavily researched. Housing finance is YMYL twice over: money and shelter.

Constraint

Hundreds of low-search-volume territories, none individually worth a hand-built page, all collectively decisive. A lean in-house team. And a lending funnel where a lead only matters if it survives credit qualification — so the work had to optimize for qualified applications, not form fills.

What I did

  • 2,000+ dynamic regional landing pages: a templated system generating genuinely localized pages per territory and product — local branch details, region-relevant loan content — not one boilerplate stamped 2,000 times.
  • Keyword architecture: put 300+ home-loan keywords into Google's top 3 within six months of the rollout, tracked in Ahrefs and Semrush.
  • Conversion work on the money paths: improved page speed and mobile usability (most of this audience is mobile-first), and reworked the lead forms — reducing friction on the first step and clarifying what happens after submission. This is conversion work to date, honestly labeled: measured improvement, not a formal A/B testing program. The formal version is what I'd build at Berry Law.
  • Internal-linking hubs: state and district hub pages distributing authority down to territory pages, so new pages didn't launch orphaned.

What transfers to Berry Law

Swap "housing-finance territory" for "veterans-disability state page" or "Nebraska practice-area city page" and the architecture is the same: a scalable template that must stay genuinely local, an internal-linking structure that feeds authority to hundreds of pages, and a conversion path tuned for a nervous, high-stakes decision-maker. Berry Law already runs a practice-by-geography page set on jsberrylaw.com — the 90-day plan includes auditing exactly where that set is genuinely local versus boilerplate, because I've built the good version and seen the failure modes.

What I'd do differently

Consolidate overlapping territory pages earlier. A subset of neighboring-territory pages competed for the same queries until we tightened the keyword-to-page mapping and internal linking; catching that in the architecture phase would have saved a quarter of cleanup. It's why query-overlap analysis appears in the Berry Law plan before any consolidation decision — the same mistake at domain scale is far more expensive.
